Current Application Project - Project Management and iOS Development
December 2017- Present

Project leading and developing the iOS application. Feature implementation: UIITabBarController for sorting, SideMenu Navigation, built around Firebase Firestore, smooth image loading, cool PanGestureRecognizer functionality, UIPageController manipulation, lots of fun with TableViewController capabilities.

GoMission Application - Project Management and iOS Development
November 2017- December 2017 (link)

Updated the GoMission application for the Greater Mission Chamber of Commerce, which serves as a Business Directory and offers coupons and deals in the area. Rewrote most of the existing Objective-C application to change core concept to focus on the deals and coupons. Wrote PHP scripts to simplify the API calls used for grabbing business and category data. Revamped directory database to simplify categorization into main categories. Probably should've rewritten the whole thing in Swift, but it served as a good refresher on Objective-C.

Elliot Wave Theory Models for Cryptocurrencies
May 2017 - Sept 2017

Built models to detect and react to Elliot Waves in real-time Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin market data. Good practice accessing API's with python and experimenting with different listener methods for updating data real-time. Parsed data and did basic analysis with pandas, then implemented the model to mark transitions between "up" and "down" wave movements. It is a simple model but a solid foundation is there for future improvements.

Delivery Application - Project Management and iOS Development

Created an application for courier services featuring separate client and driver portals, taking the idea from concept to development. Served as Swift developer laying out the front-end and then doing back-end development. Main implemented features were account management with Firebase Auth, reads and writes with Real-time Database, secure Stripe payments through Firebase, side-menu navigation, with a simple and clean interface.

Analyzing Data for a Childhood Obesity Study - Project Manager

Led a team that created a user-interface for researchers at Pennington Biomedical Research Center to analyze test data. Incorporated filtering to smooth the data, then ran principal component analysis and pattern recognition algorithms to understand trends. The final interface allowed for varying test cases and covered a wide variety of possible outcomes in the data. Created using MatLab2016a

Human Guided Machine Vision on Satellite Images- Team Member

The goal of this project was to detect roads in satellite images, then allow a user to select the roads to create their own paths. Image detection, filtering, and interfacing were the main components of the project. Project was part of the IMA Bootcamp at the University of Minnesota. Created using MatLab 2015b

Software for an Eye-Tracking Research Project - Project Manager

Developed interactive software for testing data for a study comparing response times and accuracy of experts and novices searching for symbols in convoluted terrain maps. Used simple machine learning techniques to create a binary identifier and delivered an interface for the researchers. Created with MatLab 2015b

Tracking Remote Sensors for a Scanning Device - Project Manager

For this project provided by the company Evisive, our research team displayed tracking data obtained by optical sensors on a scanning device. Key components of the project were calibration corrections, geometric alignment techniques, and cross validation. Created with MatLab 2013b

Double Sunrise on Mercury - Project Manager
Summer 2012

Modeled the "double sunrise" that occurs on Mercury based on eccentricity of the orbit around the sun. Part of the SMILE REU at LSU. Created with Mathematica 2015b
